Flood warning extended till Monday afternoon for Butler

Butler County has received dozens of flooded roadway reports, along with several roads closed throughout the southern Butler County region. Currently, the National Weather Service has indicated over 2.5-inches of rain has fallen, with more expected.

The county was under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch yesterday, with several warnings issued for potentially dangerous storms. Currently, there are still power outages and roadways under water that has not receded yet.

The Connoquenessing Creek was out of its banks, which rose 8-foot more than the usual 2-foot level.


A flood warning has been extended till 3:45pm this afternoon.
