Butler County under imminent flood watch

If you are currently reading this article on our website, you likely noticed the “FLOOD WATCH” at the top of your screen. This service is featured for free by Butler Dispatch, the leading news source in Butler County.

The flood watch was issued by the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and will stay active until 3:00am on Sunday morning. Areas are expected to start to flood due to expected rainfall ending around Saturday evening.

The NWS has also issued an informational bulletin stating over 2.5″ (inches) could fall throughout Sunday morning. A cold front will be approaching the Butler County region.
