Woman injured; rescued by local man in Route 38 crash

Kathy Stutler, 56 of Chicora, rolled her vehicle on Route 38 near the Sunoco near the Oneida Valley Dam on Route 38. Butler County 911 received a 911 call at 7:07pm from a passerby that a vehicle had rolled over, with a woman trapped inside. Troopers were able to confirm that her vehicle was traveling north when she veered off the road and hit an embankment. She immediately hit a tree and began to flip.

East Butler EMS transported her to Butler Memorial Hospital as an ALS call, but sources stated she was not seriously hurt.

Crews from Oneida Valley VFC, Unionville VFD, East Butler EMS and Butler AMbulance Service was on-scene. A medical helicopter was called but later canceled.
