4-alarm fire requires Butler County fire departments

FREEPORT, Pa. – A kitchen fire soon turned into a multi-complex blaze in Freeport Borough.

The first call to 911 was made shortly before 9:30 pm. on July 3rd.

Crews just left the scene on July 4th. between 3:00am and 5:00am.

It is unknown what caused the fire at this time, but Sarver VFC and Buffalo Township VFD was requested to respond to the fire which happened on Market Street, approximately 1 block from the Freeport VFD.
