BREAKING: STAT MedEvac needed in Prospect

PROSPECT, Pa. – Emergency medical officials had just requested Prospect VFD for a landing zone to be established for a medical helicopter.

Originally, Butler Ambulance Service was dispatched to the 600-block of New Castle Road in Franklin Township for a medical emergency.

When crews arrived, they found an 89-year-old male unconscious at the address dispatched.

Prospect VFD was then requested by Butler Ambulance Service for a landing zone assist.

Currently, fire officials are determining the closest available place to land a helicopter, to where the ambulance can rendezvous with the flight crew.

STAT MedEvac 3 was in the air nearby.

No other information was available at this time.
