BREAKING: Medical helicopter called to Route 528 crash

BRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A serious crash required to usage of a medical helicopter when a motorcycle crash sent two people flying through the air.

According to our police sources, 48-year-old James McKnight and 36-year-old Ruth Updegraff of Grove City was riding on Prospect Road (Route 528) when they crashed about a mile west of the Route 8 intersection.

Officials beleive a deer may have struck the motorcycle around 6:50 pm. which possibly caused the motorcycle to crash on the dry road.

Scanner reports indicated that LifeFlight was landed by Unionville VFD. State police and Butler Ambulance Service assisted at the call as well.
