Penn Twp man to get long sentence for teen girl rape

BUTLER, Pa. – Matthew Parker, a 38-year-old man who used to live in Penn Township, received one long sentence.

According to court records, Parker was found guilty by a jury of his peers. In his trial, gruesome details were discussed about the rape. In the end, he was found guilty of felony rape (2 charges), felony aggravated indecent assault, felony corruption of minors, and felony child endangerment. He was also found guilty of misdemeanor indecent assault (3 charges).

Parker molested and raped a teen girl over a period of several years.

He will be in a state prison from 12 to 24 years. Upon release, he will also have 5-years of state probation.
